Ready-To-Use Compact Systems

Besides partial solutions, such as facilities for the removal of iron, manganese and chlorine, the delivery spectrum includes also ready-to-use compact units for drinking and process water production from ground and surface water. Flocculation, tube-bundle clarification and mixed-media multi-layer filtration are combined in the compact unit. The compact unit offers great operating safety and an equally residual purified water quality with minimum investment and operating costs, regardless of raw water fluctuations.

Technical Details

The compact water treatment system serves to produce drinking and process water from ground and surface water. The technologies are especially applied in the removal of impurities, discoloration, taste and smell improvement, or in the removal of iron and manganese.

Facility construction

The compact facilities are basically conceived as a two-way avenue, in which each street can be self-operated. The process compact unit includes flocculation, sedimentation and filtration stages. An optimum flocculation composition is guaranteed by applying agitators and flocculation chemicals in the flocculation chambers. The tube-bundle clarifiers are installed in the sedimentation stage for the separation of flocculants formed. The subsequent filtration stage is designed as a mixed-media multi-layer filter.
